    \n\u2022 When taking medication, consult a doctor to make sure you can safely operate and use your firearm.<\/span>
    \n\u2022 Get training from a qualified firearms instructor before using any weapon.<\/span>
    \n\u2022 Practice dry-firing in an empty room, without ammunition or with training rounds, before attempting to shoot. Learn about safety features, trigger control and firearm handling.<\/span>
    \n\u2022 Always store and carry your handgun with an empty chamber until you are ready to fire, so that it cannot be unintentionally fired.<\/span>
    \n\u2022 Firearms should be unloaded when not in use. This means that both the chamber and the magazine are empty.<\/span>
    \n\u2022 When giving a gun to someone else, always ask the person receiving it to open the cap and check that the chamber is unloaded.<\/span>
    \n\u2022 When receiving a firearm, never take anyone's word for it that the firearm's chamber is unloaded. Always open the slide and make sure that the chamber has been emptied.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
